Grade 8 early morning band will be cancelled on our first day back to school (Thursday, January 3rd). A grade 8 rehearsal will be held instead from 12:35-1:15 p.m. on Thursday.

There will be a grade 9 early morning band rehearsal on Friday, January 4th.

There will be a special jazz band rehearsal on Friday, January 4th from 3:00-4:30 to begin to rehearse Fly Me to the Moon for the space station assembly. Please practice your parts before the rehearsal!

Congratulations to all of the band and strings students who participated in the concert last evening. It was a great show and everyone should be very proud of their performances.

All regular extra-curricular band rehearsals (7, 8, 9, Jazz) are now finished for this term and will begin again following the Christmas break.  Rehearsals will, however, be scheduled this week and next week for grade 9 Honours Band students.

Grade 9 early morning band and Jazz band rehearsal are cancelled on Tuesday (concert day)

All band students are reminded that they will be involved in a rehearsal on Tuesday afternoon in the gym.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the concert on Tuesday night!

The Stonepark Christmas Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Stonepark gymnasium.
Students are asked to meet in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. . We have a wonderful program of seasonal music prepared and we are looking forward to sharing it with friends and family!

Admission will be by donation with proceeds going to support the music program.

All band students will be wearing band uniforms for the Christmas concert. Band students are reminded that the Stonepark band uniform consists of a white shirt or blouse, black pants or skirt, and dark shoes for grade 7 students, and a white shirt or blouse, black pants or skirt, a band sweater, and dark shoes for grade 8 and 9 students. Black tights (no patterns please) must be worn with skirts.
